A decapitated cadaver is placed in the center of a circle, surrounded by players from two opposing teams, in Buzkashi. The goal of the game is to gain control of the carcass and transport it to the scoring zone. It may appear to be an easy task, but it is not. Only the most skilled players (known as chapandaz) are allowed to approach the cadaver. The rivalry is strong, and the winner of each match is awarded rewards supplied by a sponsor. Money, exquisite turbans, and clothing are among the awards. To become a chapandaz, a person must go through a considerable amount of tough training. The best chapandaz, in fact, are frequently over forty years old.
The players aren't the only ones who put in a lot of effort; the horses who compete in buzkashi must train for five years before they can even step onto the field. Buzkashi is a dangerous sport, but with proper training and communication between the horse and rider, the risk of damage can be reduced,
