Protestors continued to flock to the Presidential Palace in western Sri Lanka's Colombo amidst the prevailing economic crisis in the country.

The incident happened in the Colombo district on July 12.

Visuals showed the people crowding inside the palatial building. People had crowded portions of what seemed like a corridor as they continued to voice their protest against the current regime.

Earlier, a similar incident happened a few days ago when protestors had broken into President Gotabaya Rajapaksa's house. They had used his swimming pool, used his bedroom, and also the gym.

It was earlier reported that Rajapaksa had fled the country. A state of emergency has been declared in the country after Sri Lankan Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe too resigned after his house was torched.
