25 July 2022, Saint Petersburg, Russia

The Peter and Paul Fortress is the first building of Northern Palmyra, from which the city of St. Petersburg began. One of the largest fortresses in Europe.
At a depth of a meter in the dark coolness, a two-month-old kitten hid.
The kitten spent apparently a very long time there. Luckily, he was rescued in time.
The sight of the sun, as well as getting into the cage, obviously did not please the kitten. He hissed and snorted, making it clear in every possible way that our society did not please him. A potential experienced mistress said that the poor fellow was waiting for a veterinarian and accustoming to home life in the company of several of the same once former friends in misfortune.
The cat gradually calmed down, as well as attempts to open the cage with its paws. And then the kitten went home.
