James Vos, Cape Town’s Mayoral Committee Member for Economic Opportunities & Asset Management said the Table Mountain shaped ring said the ring represents eternity, Cape Town cuisine and colour, culture and what the city shows to the world.

Giselle Esau, marketing executive for the Cape Town Aerial Cableway said the ring is important because it symbolises Cape Town and South Africa as it’s the most iconic landmark in the City and the seventh wonder of the world.

Yair Shimansky, the head of the Shimansky jewellery company said the ring represents Cape Town and is conversation starter and brand ambassador and wants the ring to bring memories to people all around the world.
