Visitors at West London church gaze upon a 7-metre model of the earth by artist Luke Jerram
A 7-metre diameter touring artwork 'Gaia' by UK artist Luke Jerram featuring 120dpi detailed NASA imagery has been installed in St John the Baptist Church, west London.
Visitors took photos and sat in quiet contemplation as the installation is aimed at creating an 'Overview Effect' - inspiring feelings of awe for the planet and all life on earth.
A special soundscape was created by BAFTA award winning composor, Dan Jones.
Gaia can be viewed at St John the Baptist until Saturday 6th, when it will move on to All Saints' Church in Notting Hill from the 9th August.
