Saved from slaughter! Birmingham's Commonwealth Games 2022 Bull set to stay in city after last minute intervention
This mechanical bull has been saved from slaughter.
Scores of visitors are still attracted to Birmingham Commonwealth Games 2022 Bull that was the star of the opening ceremony.
Birmingham City Council announced today (5 August) that the Bull would be staying in Centenary Square until the end of September where it will be moved on show to the public inside until at least 2023.
The attraction was set to be dismantled after the games finished on Monday 8th August.
Parts of the bull are made of foam which restricts the monster machine from being outside in rain and freezing temperatures.
Thousands of visitors visit the bull to take photos of it every day.
