House sealed off after man is arrested on suspicion of woman's murder in Wolverhampton
A 41-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman in her 30s who was found dead at a Finchfield Road address in Wolverhampton.
West Midlands Police hold a scene outside a semi-detached home on Finchfield Road in Wolverhampton on Tuesday 30 September after a 41-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murdering a woman in her 30's.
West Midlands Police Statement: ‘A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman was found dead in Wolverhampton last night (29 September).
‘We discovered a woman in her 30s with serious injuries at an address on Finchfield Road at around 8.20pm.
‘Tragically, she was confirmed dead at the scene and our thoughts are with her loved ones at this devastating time.
‘A man aged 41 – who is understood to be known to the woman – has been arrested.
‘A scene remains in place while we carry out enquiries to help us establish the full circumstances around what happened, and extra officers will be in the area throughout the day.
‘We’re not looking for anyone else as part of the investigation.’
