Taxis in short supply at Euston Station as weekenders and holiday makers are marooned by tube strikes
A long queue for taxis was spotted outside Euston train station (August 19) with passengers arriving in from all over the country via mainline services and little of the TFL underground network running as workers stage a 24hr strike.
Taxi drivers have been running flat out in order to cope with the demand from extra passengers and as a result, demand exceeded supply as people queued with luggage and children and only a trickle of taxis arriving for pick ups.
Buses fared no better, with few in sight.
