This is the amusing moment resourceful construction workers used a cement mixer as a makeshift washing machine in the Philippines.

The employees were on their break and decided to make use of their idle time to get some household chores done at the construction site in Cebu province on August 19.

The men were filmed pouring a packet of detergent into a bucket before dumping the soapy solution inside the mixer. They then place their dirty laundry inside and watch as the machine tosses the clothes around.

Worker Jovanie Pasilan said: 'We've been thinking of doing this for a while, but we were too busy with work. We were just on our break at the time so we decided to go ahead with our plan.'
