A Thai farmer gives his water buffalo a shower at sunset in his farmyard using a watering hose.
This was the scene at a small farmyard at Phang Khon, Sakon Nakhon, North East Thailand. This farmer really loves his animals and treats them with great respect. There is a special bond between the water buffalo and his owner. If I tried to go near this animal it was not happy, I had to keep my distance for fear of upsetting him.
