My car came under attack from a small but vicious tree sparrow in Khonkaen, Thailand.

During my trip from Bangkok area to Sakon Nakhon, we stopped off at a small resort hotel for the night to break the trip. Next morning we heard a banging noise near our car. To our amazement, we found a pair of tree sparrows viciously attacking the car mirrors. I later got into the car with my cell phone to catch a closer look at them. One of them seemed to be looking in at me out of curiosity, while the other was viciously attacking the front windscreen. He seemed to enjoy sliding down my windscreen. I was thinking of the movie The Day of The Birds, this must be the Thai version of it. The birds were attacking their own reflections in the glass. They were very energetic, determined and persistent. I was wondering if they would follow my car as we left. It was a strange and interesting encounter with nature. I have seen and recorded birds attacking wing mirrors before on cars, but this little guy was extreme. he wasn't bothered by a maid walking past with a trolly of bed blankets or by the noises from a nearby construction site. The louder the noise the more aggressive he became.
