Pripyat' ghost town tour: Chornobyl Alienation zone after the liberation from the Russian occupaiton, 2022
Pripyat was a satellite town of Chornobyl before the worst in history nuclear accident turned it into a ghost town on April 26, 1986. The residents had to leave their homes in a matter of hours, with minimal belonging, to be evacuated to a safe place. Life circa 1986 was well preserved in the empty city until the 2022 Russian invasion. In the video, two toilet seats are shown, allegedly looted from apartments with some of the highest levels of radiation.
