Incredible time-lapse of the Northern Lights captured over Central Alberta with unique pulsating pink aurora
Photographer Siv Heang Tav captured this stunning footage of the northern lights between 5 am and 6 am over Central Alberta in Canada.
Siv describes the scene:
"This is a timelapse of a strong aurora in the early morning of Sept 5 at dawn (5 AM to 6 AM). It was shot after a long night of chasing clear skies in various locations, as the clouds and forest fire smoke obstructed the skies in most of the province this evening. Our tenacity paid off when we found a location with relatively clear skies over this wetland near Camrose in Central Alberta, and the aurora popped in intensity in the early hours before sunrise. This was a unique event as it had a pulsating pink aurora, visible in the second section of this timelapse."
