Tribute to Queen Elizabeth II through sand art with installation of 740 roses
Britain’s longest-serving monarch, Queen Elizabeth II passed away on Thursday afternoon at 96.
Renowned sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik has created a sand sculpture to pay tribute to Queen Elizabeth II , at Puri beach in Odisha on Friday.
Sudarsan has created a 6ft high sand sculpture of Queen Elizabeth II with installing 740 roses . He has used about 6 tons of sand in this sculpture.
As an artist I pay tribute to Her Excellency through sand art . There are many people gathered at Puri beach near the sculpture and pay their tribute, said Sudarsan.
So far Padma awarded sand artist Sudarsan has participated in more than 65 sand art festivals and competitions around the World and won many awards and prizes for the country including two times World championships. He always try to do sand art on current topics and social awareness.
