A 9-year-old boy performed impressive martial arts to surprise his father in front of his school gate in China.

The cool video was filmed in the city of Xingtai in Hebei Province on October 12.

The boy named Zhang Yikun was seen running out of his school, performing an aerial cartwheel and martial arts movements before jumping onto his father's scooter.

The boy's father Zhang Chaojie's friend Song Xiong captured the impressive moment.

According to Zhang, it was beyond his expectation although he had been told that he would receive a surprise from his son on that day.

The video had more than 220,000 likes on Chinese social media. The netizens believed that the boy has the potential to be a good soldier or policeman in the future.
