Boy, 4, delights crowd with his epic superhero sword moves
A preschooler delighted the crowd with his epic superhero sword moves during a sports competition.
The four-year-old boy walked to the middle of the mat and began a martial arts routine during the inter-school event in Leyte, the Philippines, on December 27.
Footage shows the youngster gripping a rattan stick to his chest, causing the spectators to cheer as he did a series of Filipino combat arts Arnis moves.
He then performed graceful sword fighting stances, swiftly slashing into the air.
The kid rolled over, and the crowd screamed as he continued the drill until he was finished and bowed.
Alnex Abenoja, who attended the event, said: 'He was little but looked like a proper fighter. Everyone enjoyed his Arnis performance.'
Arnis, also known as Eskrima or Kali, is a traditional Filipino martial art that uses sticks, knives, bladed weapons, and empty-hand techniques. It is recognised as the national martial art and sport of the Philippines.
