A Chinese man suspects that his cat switches his alarm clock off in the morning, resulting in him showing up late at work.

Unsure about why his alarm doesn't ring, he sets another alarm clock on to see the pet's reaction.

The footage shows the cat switching the alarm clock off with its paws. The playful pet touches the screen and the ringtone goes off.

Now that the owner knows that the cat is guilty, he understands why he once overslept until 11 am and arrived late at work.

The filmer of this video, Ms. Tan, the man’s girlfriend, said she picked up and adopted the stray kitten from the street in September. The pet is now three months old.

The footage was filmed in Yunnan province, southern China, on November 24. It was published with the filmer's permission.
