Roda Rico, considered the largest Ferris wheel in Latin America, measuring 91 meters in height, will officially open to the public today (December 9) in São Paulo, Brazil. The structure is set up in the vicinity of the Marginal do Pinheiros, with 42 cabins, with air conditioning, wi-fi internet, intercom and panoramic view of the city. Tests were done in the last few days. Assembly began in mid-April this year. At night, the Ferris wheel will have scenic lighting, which may change according to dates and special events. It is in an area of ​​4,500 square meters, next to the Park’s Events Square, which is state owned. On site, there will also be spaces for the sale of drinks, popcorn, ice cream and açaí, as well as photos.

I am very proud as a São Paulo native to be hired by an international company that values ​​all local suppliers, concerned with sustainability issues, and with bringing investments to the City of São Paulo.
This project is not JUST a ferris wheel, it is a wonderful ferris wheel, 91 meters high, the largest in Latin America and which is in perfect harmony with the city's projects and with the revitalization of the Pinheiros River.
So it's a whole environment that is getting married with the inauguration of the Ferris Wheel.
I was also responsible for customizing some cabins that will attract new investments to the City.
They are personalized with fragrances, lighting, upholstery, with the "branding" of some brands that may be associated with this great project, whose objective is to bring back São Paulo citizens, visitors, Brazilians and foreigners to the city of São Paulo. After all, the Pandemic held us back for a long time, so it's interesting to see businessmen investing in the City at this moment and executing a magnificent idea, to make it a mark of normality, a return to "free air".
We are between two wonderful parks: Candido Portinari where the wheel is located, which is next to Parque Villa Lobos. We are facing the Pinheiros River, whose project is a priority for our City Hall, State and our Country.
