Chinese artist carves football star Lionel Messi’s profile into tofu
A Chinese man carved World Cup winner Lionel Messi’s profile into a block of tofu in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province.
As a fan of Messi, the art enthusiast named Weiting Wang is good at using a variety of materials to create portraits.
He calved out some tofu foam to form the front race, then used the tofu foam to create a side face and a full-body picture, finally adding some soy sauce to symbolise his encouragement to Messi, as soy sauce in Chinese sounded like a Chinese pun that means "come on".
It took him one day to complete the work from planning.
The video was filmed on December 18 and provided by Wang himself with permission.
