A livestreamer in Dungeness, Kent, caught the sight of a large group of migrants landing on the southern English beach in May 2022.

The filmer was waiting to film a RNLI (Royal National Lifeboat Institution -- a British sea rescue charity) boat coming in to Dungeness with migrants on board, when he caught sight of a dinghy coming to shore further up the coastline.

He ran towards it and saw a group of migrants on the beach.

More than 45,000 migrants crossed illegally by boat from France to England in 2022.

It was far less in 2021, at nearly 28,500.
