This wholesome moment was captured on Emy Sharman's sons seventh birthday, as he showed his love and gratitude after he received his number one item on his present list.

There was an initial burst of excitement and energy but that quickly turned into tears as the birthday boy thanked his mother for the gift.

He lost his Nintendo Switch so a new one was bought to replace it.

The family had just moved to Northampton which had put pressures on Emy's boy since he lives with Autism and can feel distressed in unfamiliar situations, so this present was a way of comforting him.

Emy said: "My sons Nintendo switch went missing when we moved house, and due to him being autistic and having ADHD he sometimes doesn’t understand why these things happen. So we surprised him with a new one for his birthday.

"I was in absolute awe, didn’t expect it at all."
