This is the adorable moment a haughty pet cat blocked a toy train and swiped it away with her paw.

Footage shows the moggy resting on the miniature model of a mountain town when the battery-operated locomotive approached her at the cafe in Osaka, Japan on January 29.

The female cat named Kabu-Chan looked down with disdain at the popular toy attraction before it crashed into its leg. She then whacked it with her mighty paw - causing a replica rail disaster.

Cafe owner Naoki Teraoka said Kabu-Chan lives in the cafe, which doubles as an animal shelter, along with dozens of other felines.

She said ‘The cafe has protective cats like her. We take care of about a hundred cats. Sometimes Kabu-Chan will be in the miniature town and look act like a security guard. She's hilarious.'
