Ambulance staff in Wrexham have gone on strike over pay, joining thousands of other NHS staff walking out across the UK.

Ambulance workers across Wales from the Unite Union are on strike again today, with unions invited by the Government to discuss a one-off cash payment to break the deadlock. Workers in the union formed a picket-line at their main ambulance spot close to the Wrexham Maelor Hospital today, Monday, February 6th. To end the dispute the union says it needs a concrete pay offer to help resolve the NHS’s recruitment and retention crisis.
