Boy's hand gets stuck in escalator at Chinese mall
A boy's hand got stuck in an escalator at a mall in southern China.
CCTV footage filmed in the city of Nanning in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on February 11 shows a boy putting his hand on the rail of an escalator and suddenly getting stuck in it.
The boy's mother standing next to him spotted the incident and attempted to drag the boy's hand out of the escalator.
The escalator stopped immediately after the boy's hand got trapped inside and nearby people gathered to rescue him.
The mall employees arrived in a short time and freed the boy's hand from the escalator.
Fortunately, the boy was not injured seriously.
The video was provided by local media with permission.
