A BYD electric car burst into flame on a highway in China.
Footage shows the electric SUV being towed along a road in Yantai city, Shandong province, on February 17.
As a truck carried the vehicle away, it spewed out sparks before erupting into flames.
Firefighters have extinguished the fire with no casualties reported.
BYD, which stands for Build Your Dreams, is among the automakers competing in China's burgeoning EV market, taking on other companies like Tesla and homegrown brand Great Wall Motor.
Warren Buffet's Berkshire Hathaway's initial $230 million stake in the company soared in value to $9.5 billion at its recent peak. The U.S. investing icon recently offloaded some of his firm's equity in BYD, netting a $2.6 billion profit.
