This is the amusing moment a curious pet cat climbed up a gate like a ninja to check a newly installed mesh screen.

The ginger feline named Adi was filmed nimbly scaling the steel gate while fur mum Cyrrine finished putting up the wire screen at home in Bacoor city, Cavite province in the Philippines on March 1.

Cyrrine said they installed the wire mesh to keep their 15 cats safely inside the house.

She said: 'Our other cats are well-behaved, but some are naughty and keep jumping the gate, so we decided to cover up the gap.

'That day, we were almost done, and Adi went up to check if the wire mesh was good enough to keep her siblings inside. When she finished her inspection, she hopped back down, almost to say that she approves.'
