A cool video has emerged from China of a cheap car which has been converted into an elaborate camper van.

The unique vehicle was created by Mr Chen from a second-hand Peugeot 505, which cost him less than 5-thousand US dollars.

Thanks to a tent which opens up on the roof, the vehicle now sleeps up to four adults.

It also has a dining area, working toilet and cooking facilities.

Chen's mother prefers not to sleep in the tent on the roof, though, and beds down inside the vehicle.
