Dozens of backpackers enjoy a"tipsy tubing" trip along a river in Thailand.

Throngs of tourists - many with drinks loaded into their rubber rings - drift on floaties down the Pai River in Mae Hong Son province.

The attraction has become an unlikely seasonal hit and draws thousands of travelers and backpackers to the remote area.

There are even "filling stations" along the route where cans of beer are served.

The activity is only allowed from November to May during the dry season when the water is lowest at around waist-deep. It becomes deeper and more dangerous when monsoons start in the rainy season in June.
