Indian Space Research Organization launches PSLV C-55 with two Singaporean satellites in southern India
The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) launched the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle C55 (PSLV-C55) from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota, located in southern India's Andhra Pradesh on April 22.
Visuals showed the PSLV C-55 being successfully launched by the ISRO. The PSLV C-55 had Singapore's TeLEOS-2 as the primary satellite and Lumelite-4 as a co-passenger satellite. PSLV C-55, as per the ISRO, is a dedicated Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle of NewSpace India Limited.
This was the PSLV's 57th flight.
