Dozens of runners in costume taking part in the London marathon push themselves to the limit as they dash through the south-east of the capital
Dozens of runners in all kinds of costumes ran past the 12 mile mark of the London Marathon this year (April 23) as they tested their physical stamina to the limit, donning furry and imaginative costumes on the 26.2-mile-long route.
Spotted passing by were participants dressed in a camel suit, a disco ball, as an Avatar character, Big Ben, Blackpool Tower, dinosaurs, carrying an inflatable breast, a book cover, and with a fridge and a radiator strapped to their backs.
Some were attempting Guinness World Records for the type of costume they were wearing.
