As the votes for the Karnataka Assembly elections were being counted, a snake was spotted in the Modi government's party office in the southern Indian state.

This happened in the Shiggaon constituency on May 13.

Visuals showed a cop trying to catch the snake with the help of an iron rod. Taming the reptile wasn't an easy task as the policeman was also seen taking a sack and trying to put the creature inside it. A crowd had expectedly gathered at the spot. The presence of the snake created chaos in the area. However, the snake was rescued and the building premises were secured in the presence of Karnataka's Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai.
