A snake was rescued from a residential area in southern India's Andhra Pradesh on December 12. The incident took place in Visakhapatnam's Aganampudi neighbourhood.

A video of the rescue operation shows the snake rescuer walking into the porch of the home where the snake was spotted. A few people can be seen perched upon the ledge recording the rescue operation.

The rescuer lays down a piece of fabric before lying down over it and pulling out the snake within moments with unbelievable ease. He then walks away with the snake struggling to break free from the firm hold of the rescuer.

After showing everybody the harmless nature of the snake, he places it in a sack to later release it into the woods.
