Mum divides internet after buttering bread roll with - a SPOON
A mum has divided the internet after buttering a bread roll with - a SPOON.
Teresa Basquine, 47, started a TikTok channel late last year to document he meals she makes.
Within a matter of weeks her subscribers were racking up - and there was one particular thing Teresa did that people noticed.
Whenever she makes partner Mark Read, 51, some bread rolls for lunch, she ditches a knife in favour of a spoon.
Some commenters online have been left baffled - while others have labelled the hack a "game changer"."
Teresa, a full-time nanny from Cambridge, said: "It's gone crazy, ever since I've been doing it people have commented."
"My mum said I used to do it as a child."
"Nobody ever taught me and I don't really know anyone else who does it but I've always used a spoon."
"It just stops the bread or crackers breaking compared to using a knife!"
Teresa says she has always done it because it's "easier" than using a knife - as some gobsmacked people question the choice."
One commenter said: "A SPOON?"
Another commented: "But why with a spoon, I've never seen it before."
A third added: "Why do you use a spoon to spread things and not a knife the normal way?"
But others call it "mind blowing" and swear they'll be adopting the hack - calling Teresa a "genius"."
One said: "Butter on the spoon!!! Wow game changer!"
Another said: "Never in my life have I seen someone spread butter with a spoon. It puts my butter knife to shame."
