Player hits volleyball back to opponent with freak shot landing in basketball hoop
A player hit a volleyball back to their opponent - with a freak shot that landed into a nearby basketball hoop.
The youngsters were in a match at their school sports event when the incident happened in Manila, the Philippines on May 17.
Footage shows the ball being served to the students in purple uniforms. One of them spiked the volleyball to return to the other team but it went beyond the court and went straight into the basketball ring being kept on the back.
Their schoolmates were amazed at the unexpected lucky shot and cheered in joy.
Student Raja Sameer Dela Rosa who was watching game said: ‘We couldn't believe what happened. It made the game even more fun.'
