A senior Uzbekistan official said that China's significant achievements in poverty eradication, healthcare provision, education enhancement, and combating corruption have positioned it as a commendable example of human rights promotion and global governance.
First Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan Akmal Saidov spoke on the sidelines of the Forum on Global Human Rights Governance, which took place in Beijing on Wednesday and Thursday.

"Chinese approach on global governance on human rights is more important. Achievements of China in these fields are great. It's a good example and the best practice of China in the field of human rights, including social, economic and cultural rights."
Saidov expressed a resolute position against the politicalization and double standards on human rights issues, emphasizing the indispensable need for collaboration among all nations in human rights governance.
