A seemingly-ageless man has left social media users stunned – with them saying he looks 20 years younger than he appears.

Denis Vashurin is used to causing a stir in public and online, with people often mistaking him for a 14-year-old boy.

The travel blogger, who is aged 35, has to carry around his birth certificate at all times to prove to people that he is, in fact, a grown man.

While he’s learned to embrace his youthful looks, he’s received insults and had difficult run-ins with the police as a result.

“There were moments with the traffic police, as the inspector was surprised looking at [my] documents,” Denis, from Russia, told NeedToKnow.co.uk.

“But after all, he must obey the law.

“I have never been [bullied] in my life because of my appearance, but there are bad comments with insults.

“Everyone has haters and most often they are evil and unhappy people.

“At my age, people react differently – some are very surprised, but after talking for a couple of minutes, they no longer notice.”

Denis noticed there was something different about his looks at the age of four.

But despite his bizarre inability to age, he had many friends at school.

While he claims to have visited many hospitals in search of an answer, there’s never been an explanation – but it’s made him happier in life.

He said: “I don’t consider happiness to be different, but the minuses can be turned into pluses.

“It depends on the person, fortitude and ability to arrange their lives.”

Denis now spends his time travelling and often posts on his Instagram account which now has more than 19,000 followers.

People are quick to share their reaction over Denis's appearance.

Dimitri said: "Are you really 35 or are you joking?."

Someone else said: "Denis, I respect you for your character and love for life in a broad view, good luck."

Another person commented: "You don't look 35, but you don't look like a kid either; you look like a man."

"Such a good looking guy!" said someone else.

One person added: "Benjamin buttonn!!!!" [sic]

Denis rose to fame two-and-a-half years ago after being interviewed for the first time about his appearance, where his name quickly became known around the world.

Now, he focuses his free time on travelling, walking in the mountains, driving cars and spending time with his girlfriend.

He added: “She has never been obsessed with my age or appearance.

“I don’t think anyone wants to get old, me too, but I’ve figured it out over the years.

“The main thing is health, not appearance – but nature is such that everything and everyone has their time.”
