Two people - including a 15-year-old boy - were stabbed to death as they shot a rap music video,

according to horrified eye-witnesses.

A resident overlooking the scene in Archway, north London, described a "jovial" atmosphere among a group of 30 young lads, aged between 16 and 18, before violence broke out late last night [THURS]."

The man, who asked not to be named, said the atmosphere earlier was "fun" and "good natured" as they shot the video involving "flash" cars with the crowd behind two main rappers. "

Another man, known as Mark, said the site where the 15-year-old boy was killed was directly in front of the back garden of a house with two children.

A tent is currently in place where the boy died in the middle of a large housing estate.

Police were called to Elthorne Road, Archway, at 11.30pm to reports of a stabbing.

Elthorne Road is a terraced street that runs onto Grovedale Road, inside the estate.

A boy, aged 15, was found with stab wounds and pronounced dead at midnight.

A 23-year-old man died in a west London hospital also from stab wounds.

Police say a third victim, thought to be 28, was found with stab wounds at a nearby address.

He remains in hospital, but his condition is not thought to be life threatening.

A man whose flat overlooks the estate said: "About 9pm last night,"

a bunch of lads turn out the front, like 30 lads, aged roughly between 16 and 18 mostly.

"There were three flash cars, one sexy black Audi, one that would be best described as like a Hummer, like a modern Hummer. it was pale, and there was"

a green sports car.

"We wondered what they were doing and it turned out it was a rap video. That’s what they did for the next hour or so - it was an absolute banger, if I’m honest, the tune. "

"I went down there just because I thought 'that looks fun'. So I went down there, spoke to a couple lads, just chit chat."

He said he asked one of the boys who the rapper was and he didn’t know.

He added: "That seemed quite odd to me actually, you don’t know the rapper you’ve come up to support. "

"He wasn’t being awkward or shifty about it."

"It seemed like there were two rappers at the front, one of those was white, he was either white or he could have been middle eastern, Turkish looking, he was just paler than almost everyone else. He was one of what seemed to be the main two."

He said he didn’t see any speakers, adding:

"The atmosphere was really jovial."

"It was just a load of kids having a really good laugh, making their music video and they were just doing that for a while. It was really good fun."

"Then about an hour later we were just out here on the balcony having our tea, a drink or whatever, and we just heard shouting and some sort of shouting in the distance before lads ran away."

Explaining the shouting, he gestured to the outside of the estate towards St John’s Way - the other side of the block the music video shoot was in front of.

He said he assumed they were running away from the gathering.

He continued:

"There was a lot of young fellas down there: mostly, but not exclusively, black fellas. "

"We heard some shouting and then maybe at midnight or so my partner spotted that there was a lot of ambulances and cops. "

"They were just trying to revive the bloke and they failed and stuck him in the white bag. "

"From my point of view I saw them trying to revive the person and I went down and spoke to the cops, and he was in the bag."

Describing the resuscitation efforts, he added: "There must have been eight to 10 people stood over him."

He said when he next looked he saw the body in the white bag.

He added: "It was the same song they were playing, but I didn’t catch any of the lyrics."

"I’m not sure it was drill, it sounded, for want of a better word, accessible - I liked it. "

"It was sort of 30 young lads, a couple of fellas out the front, presumably were the lead rappers and the others were in the back [of the shot] as they would be in a rap video."

Describing the recording, he said: "There was one bloke out the front, it wasn’t just on a mobile phone, he had a light, it was a bit more professional. "

"Everything I saw of them while they were filming that video was just good natured."

"It was just kids dicking about. It didn’t feel aggressive or intimidating, there was a lad with a water pistol. "

"It was quite funny, because first of all we thought 'there’s a lad with a gun' - and it was just a water pistol. "

"It was just like a hand gun thing. It all seemed really good natured, it did not seem like a group that something would happen to, everyone was in really good spirits, there were people just laughing and dancing. "

"Neighbours were just watching and filming."

He said he heard shouts and then they ran.

"We heard screams from women. It must have been the 15 year old, because I heard there were two and the other got rushed to hospital."

Another resident overlooking the scene, who wanted only to be know as Mark, said: "About 9.30pm I did hear loud music."

"You could tell it was coming from a car. Then the sound just dropped off, so I didn’t think anything of it."

"I went to work about 11.15pm, and there was a group of maybe 20 to 25 lads just beside the tree, where all the gas canisters are. "

"They were reasonably subdued, when you hear it it’s very unusual, that kind of gathering, just doesn’t happen, I’ve lived here nearly 14 years and it doesn’t happen. "

"I thought, normally, I ride my bike to work and I’d get on my bike down the bottom of the stairs, but I looked and I saw they were just starting to throw water bottles at the wall and they were just starting to get a bit boisterous. "

"I just thought, I’m going to go around the other way. They were drinking spirits I think, stuff like that, there’s a bottle of alcohol there against the wall. "

"They weren’t throwing glass, it was just plastic bottles, so I just thought I’m not going to ride past them. "

"I came back around 2.20am and there was just cordons and the tent was there."

"I saw just a couple, two bottles being thrown. "

"I didn’t stand gawping, you just get a sense. I only glanced, but they were young, late teenagers, the age you would expect."

A Met Police spokesman said: "A double murder investigation has been launched after a man and a teenager were fatally stabbed in north London."

"Police were called at 11.33pm to Elthorne Road"

to reports of a stabbing.

"Officers responded with paramedics from the London Ambulance Service."

"A boy, believed to be aged 15, was found with stab wounds. "

"Despite the efforts of medical staff he was sadly pronounced dead at the scene, just after midnight."

"It was established that another victim, a man aged 23, had also suffered stab injuries. "

"He had been taken to a west London hospital, where he too was pronounced dead."
Officers have informed the next of kin of both victims. They are being supported by specially trained officers.

"Formal identification and post-mortem examinations will be conducted in due course."

"A third victim, believed aged 28, was also located at an address in N19. He had suffered a stab wound. "

"He was taken to a north London hospital where he remains. His condition is not thought to be life threatening."

"The Specialist Crime Command have launched an investigation. An extensive crime scene is in place and urgent enquiries are ongoing."

He added: "Police believe a large number of people were present when the attack took place and are urging witnesses and those with information to come forward."

"There have been no arrests at this early stage."

"A Section 60 Order granting police additional stop and search powers has been authorised."

Chief Superintendent Andy Carter said: "My thoughts are with the families of the two victims who have suffered such an unimaginable loss in this shocking and unacceptable incident."

"We will support our colleagues as they investigate and members of the public will see an increased policing presence in the area."

"I urge anyone who has information that can help us establish exactly what has happened to approach those officers or contact us immediately. "

"A man and boy have lost their lives and we must now work together to identify those responsible and remove them from our streets."
