Car rammed into crowd of youths right outside MI6 HQ before smashing into another motor
A car was rammed into a crowd of youths before smashing into another motor right outside the MI6 headquarters.
Shocked onlookers watched on in shock as five youths stood around another lying on the floor.
Some of the yobs appeared to kick the stricken man as he was on the ground, the 52-second clip shows.
They were crowded around a dark blue Ford Mondeo estate parked by the side of the road opposite the secret service base.
But suddenly a black A-Class Mercedes appeared from nowhere and slammed into the group.
It then reversed back and slammed into the side of the Ford.
Some of the hooded group hurled objects at the Merc as the man who’d been on the ground tried to get in.
The car then drove off as he ran after it before jumping in.
The shocking incident happened in the early hours of Saturday (1 Jul) morning.
Miraculously no one was seriously hurt.
Cops have arrested a man on suspicion of dangerous driving and attempting to cause serious injury with a motor vehicle.
Shocked local Mike Beck said: “Right outside MI6 building and not a police officer in sight.”
Another said: “How did this happen right outside the MI6 building?”
Another added: “Right on the doorstep of MI6.”
One, named Khalid, said: “I mean James Bond is literally five metres away.”
Laura Lea said: “Absolutely sick of this behaviour.”
A Met Police spokesperson said: “Police are aware of an incident where a vehicle was seen to drive into a crowd of people on Albert Embankment, SE1 at around 5:10am on Saturday, 1 July.
“No reports of any serious injuries.
“On Tuesday, 4 July a 22-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and attempting to cause serious injury with a motor vehicle.
“He remains in custody at a south London police station.”
