Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi on Wednesday met with representatives from the Chinese Wuhuan Engineering Company and the Italian Palestra Company and discussed with them more cooperation opportunities in the field of fertilizer production.
 
The Egyptian Presidency Spokesperson Ahmed Fahmy said that the meeting reviewed Egypt's ongoing cooperation with the Chinese and Italian companies, for the immediate start of the construction of the third industrial complex for the production of fertilizers in Ain Sukhna.
 
The spokesperson said that the Egyptian president praised the ongoing cooperation, in light of Egypt's distinguished friendships with both China and Italy.
 
According to Fahmy, the Egyptian president also stressed continuing efforts to localize the industry and to deepen local industrialization in Egypt, especially through the transfer of knowledge, technology, and experience by benefiting from foreign companies worldwide.
