The two leaders reaffirmed that the only guarantee of permanent regional peace is the establishment of a Palestinian state with 1967 borders and East Jerusalem as its capital.
The presidents met on the sidelines of the Egypt Energy Show 2025 to discuss ways of reinforcing cooperation between the two countries in various fields, including production, liquefaction, and transportation of natural gas.
