ICYMI: 'You're not invited to my birthday!' London biker uses childish insults to de-escalate road rage encounter
This biker driving through the streets of central London has a hilarious trick up his sleeve to de-escalate encounters with angry drivers.
Harvey, known as @HarveyRidesBikes on TikTok, was pulling into a parking bay when a black cab attempted to overtake him on Sackville Street near Picadilly Circus tube station.
The driver then shouts at Harvey who replies, "You're not invited to my birthday party. You're a big, smelly meanie."
"You smiled, I got you smiling," Harvey says as he notices the drive crack a grin.
The biker then runs after the taxi to give the driver a fist bump before telling him "I love you".
Harvey captioned the clip, which racked up almost four million views: "If anyone ever tries to instigate an argument on the road I just turn up the silly dial or pepper them with compliments.
"Tell people they’re not coming to your birthday party, that you love them and watch the confusion ensue."
TikTok users praised Harvey's interaction with the cab driver. One said: "Man your attitude is infectious. Really well handled"
Another commented: "That was master level, I'm a big road rager but damn, the ban to your birthday party."
"I do this exact thing but say 'well you're off the Christmas card list' tends to stump them for a moment," claimed another user.
