You can now sleep inside a giant 28ft-long POTATO that weighs SIX tonnes – complete with a pet cow

Spud lovers, assemble – you can now sleep inside a gigantic six-tonne potato measuring 28ft in length.

The huge one-bedroom tater comes complete with a custom-built queen-size bed, a fireplace, whirlpool bath and potato-themed books.

Entering the humungous potato, guests are greeted by a small sitting room, with a record player and accompanying records, perfect for a little boogie.

The cosy bed sits under a deer antler chandelier, with plenty of fluffy blankets available.

Crafted from steel, plaster and concrete, the potato has travelled the country as the star of the Big Potato Tour, celebrating a love of spuds everywhere.

A vegetable this size is estimated to make over 20,000 servings of mashed potatoes or over one million fries, according to the Idaho Potato Tour company.

And if that’s not enough, visitors also get the company of Dolly the Hersey cow, their very own holiday pet.

With a separate bathroom, made from an old grain silo, guests can hop into a giant whirlpool bath and an evening soak while looking up at the stars through the glass skylight.

Located on 400 acres of farmland, the Big Idaho Potato Hotel offers a spectacular view of the Owyhee Mountains, with only a 30-minute drive to Boise, Idaho’s capital.

Available to rent from £199 a night, the unusual stay is listed with Host Unusual, offering a unique opportunity to celebrate everything potato.
