A pack of stray dogs sat outside a convenience store entrance to cool off in aircon amid 33 degrees Celsius temperatures.

Footage shows the seven friendly animals - six of them nestled by the doormat and another one further into the street gutter - blocking the spot where a cool breeze emerges from the establishment in Bangkok, Thailand, on August 11.

The pooches are usually found outside 7-Eleven stores in the country as they like well-ventilated spots and the occasional treat from kind customers who hand them leftover food.

More than a million stray dogs and cats are roaming around Thailand due to several factors, including the lack of strict animal control laws, the prevalence of abandonment, and the high reproduction rate among them.
