SOUNDBITE (French): DIDIER DIEUDONNE NAMA, National Pedagogic Inspector of Chinese Language, in the Ministry of Secondary Education of Cameroon
"In terms of cooperation, Cameroon and China already have many years of cooperation under their belts, but in recent years, the cooperation that has been most visible at our level, especially in the area of scholarship offers and we have benefited from several kinds of scholarships. I'd even go so far as to say that China currently offers the most scholarships to Cameroon, when you add up all these scholarships.
All these scholarships have enabled Cameroonian students to continue their studies in China. In addition, we've built a large training center that you know, the Confucius Institute in Soa. And other training courses in agricultural techniques, we have the agricultural technical school built in Yabassi. Cooperation between China and Cameroon has intensified in the field of education."
