A woman living in Bluff City, Tennessee, attempted to get a feral cat into a box so she could take it to the vet for a spay appointment.

Filmed by Christina Strong, the footage has racked up over 7 million views on TikTok as the pet owner's attempts quickly descended into chaos.

As Strong attempts to pick up the feral cat named Cinder, the feline starts frantically twisting and turning, making the woman lose her balance.

After a brief struggle, the filmer managed to get Cinder safely into a box.

Strong told Newsflare: "My feral cat, Cinder is to smart to go in a trap. She is suspicious of anything out of the norm.

"I was running out of time to catch her before her spay appointment at the local shelter. This was my only chance to grab her because I wouldn’t see her until the following day.

"She twisted and flipped herself around to defend herself and I was just along for the ride. I eventually managed to get her in a box.

"She’s now fixed, at home with us, and is absolutely fine. I came out with just a couple of bites and have already seen a doctor."
