Quick-thinking chef puts out fire in kitchen
This is the moment quick-thinking chef put out a fire in a cafe kitchen in Thailand.
The employees had left the stove on to take a break but found that the fire had spread to a carton box stowed under the burner at the restaurant in Khon Kaen province on October 10.
CCTV footage shows the workers extinguishing the fire by first shutting off the gas valve. They then pulled out the burning cardboard box and killed the remaining flames with a damp cloth.
Onlooker Kat Dee said: 'Let this be a lesson to everyone. Don't leave while the stove is on.'
