Fashion designer shows off golden eagle wing costume that spreads on its own
A fashion designer made an awesome mechanical golden eagle wing costume that spreads on its own.
Footage shows the artist Bryan Diego, 25, modelling the brightly-coloured accessory with flowy cloth on the back and arrows with LED lights that were shaped like wings in Tarlac province, the Philippines on October 17.
It featured two golden eagle heads on each shoulder, illuminating arrows, and silky linens gracefully suspended in the air.
Bryan demonstrated how it was worn, showcasing a walk and smoothly swaying to display the wavy flow of the golden linens.
The design house Obra Grandiosa Creations owner, who pursued the arts right after high school when he was 16, said: ‘It was created in just less than a day from the lights to the beadwork and framing the back dress.
‘I just want to be different. I always push myself to create an extraordinary costume. ‘
Aside from the golden eagle costume, Bryan worked with Miss Germany at the Miss Asia Pacific International in 2018. He also designed four costumes for Miss Canada and two more for Miss Philippines, which both won awards at international pageants.
He said: ‘My family knows how to make them. Time constraint is challenging but we could always make it work.'
