Man mistakes rare white fox for stray cat in wild in China
On October 26, 2023, in Zhuhai, Guangdong Province, a video captured a remarkable encounter as the person recording spotted a white fox on his way home in the evening.
In the video, this white fox was seen chasing after a stray cat, appearing a little overwhelmed by the filmer's call. Chinese netizens speculated that it could be a pet fox with an owner and couldn't get back home after running out.
According to the filmer, the fox has been rescued by the local authorities.
In Chinese mythology, the white fox is often associated with an impression of mystery and fascination, while many also believe that the creature will bring auspicious signs.
