The Minister of Economy and presidential candidate of Union for the Fatherland (UxP), Sergio Massa, came out on Thursday hours before the closing of the campaign against the suspicions of electoral fraud launched by Javier Milei, his rival for the ballot this Sunday, and argued that the candidate of La Libertad Avanza uses the same strategy as Donald Trump and Jair Bolsonaro.

"Bad examples, that idea of Trump and Bolsonaro as a way of building messages and not accepting results is very bad. I think Argentina must inaugurate a new stage," Massa said at a press conference during the meeting of the Inter-American Council of Trade and Production (Cicyp), held at the Alvear Hotel, in this capital.

This Thursday, LLA proxies had made presentations to guard the ballot boxes after Sunday's ballot -although the situation is already foreseen by the legislation and it is what happens in every election-, and insisted in expressing suspicions of an alleged fraud maneuver against Milei.
