The Dev Diwali festival is celebrated in Kartik Purnima, Varanasi Uttar Pradesh, every year and is attended by visitors from different parts of the country and abroad.
A laser show was organised for the occasion, along with 'eco-friendly' fireworks on November 27. Dev Deepawali is celebrated 15 days after Diwali on Kartik Purnima. On this occasion, thousands of believers come to Varanasi to pray and swim in the Ganges. Lights are lit in all major temples, ponds and lakes in Varanasi.
The 8-kilometre stretch of Ghat was adorned with a million lights, while oil lamps were used throughout the city to light it up beautifully for the festival.
